Hydrabolts Introduction
Hydrabolts are made of seamless steel bars with an outer diameter larger than the drilled diameter. No nut equipment is required. They are double-layer special-shaped tubular rods. The components include end sleeves, special-shaped pipe rods, retaining rings, water injection pipes, plates, etc. Put the steel pipe into the anchor hole and use high-pressure water to expand it. During the expansion process, the Hydrabolts undergoes permanent deformation. The wall of the anchor pipe completely fits the irregular wall of the anchor hole. The entire length of the anchor creates friction and self-locking forces, thereby strengthening the rock mass.
