Bulbed Cable Bolt
- -Cable bolt has plain cable bolt and bulb cable bolt.
- -The bulbs can be modified in frequency and diameter based on customer’s request, the diameter is 21mm~38mm,bulbs available at either 0.5 m or 1 m spacing.
- -Available in single strand or twin strand.
- -Fish hooks fitted to top of cables for retention prior to grouting.
- -Resin could be applied for immediate point anchorage and grout for permanent suppor.
Functions
Cable bolt can offer higher shear strength than the bolt and has incomparable bending capacity, so that it can better prevent or inhibit the lateral movement of rock.Cable is often used to support those areas that standard product support is not strong enough or has poor effect.

Installation Guide
-The nature of the ground must be evaluated.
-Drill a hole in the area according to bolt diameter, bolt length. The length of hole is 200mm to 500mm shorter than the bolt.
-Attach a breather tube to the full length of the bolt. Breather tube protrudes about two meters from the hole.
-Attach about one meter of grout tube to the end of the cable bolt with sufficient tail provided to connect to the pump.
-Insert the cable bolt and seal the hole mouth to eliminate lose of grout when pumping.
-Connect the grout tube to pump and place the breather tube into a container of water; when start to pump, we will see the air bubble exhausted from the breather tube in the water container, when the hole is full of grout, air bubbles will disappear.
-Tension the cable bolt after the grout has cured.
