Galvanized Split Set Bolt
- -The raw material is made of high-strength alloy steel strip.
- -Galvanized Split Set Bolt undergoes very stringent tensile testing to ensure product quality.
- -The friction strength between the bolt and the rock is large.
- -Usually combined with domed plates, provides anchoring force for rock strata.
- -Thermal diffusion galvanizing is available for the Galvanized Split Set Bolt.
Galvanized Split Set Bolt Functions
Galvanized Split Set Bolt is a frictional ground support system, made from a strip of high-tensile steel, is roll-formed into a C-shape featuring a longitudinal slot for engagement. Designed with one end tapered to simplify insertion into a drill hole, the opposite end is securely welded to a ring that anchors the bearing plate. When Galvanized Split Set Bolt is inserted into a drilling hole with a smaller diameter, the slot partially closes and the bolt diameter is compressed, which creates radical forces on the rock roof surface along the whole length and firmly holds the rock.

How to work
Firstly, conduct an assessment of the ground conditions.
Insert the driver dolly into the bolt and drive the friction anchor ground support into the hole until the plate is securely against the rock surface.
Select the appropriate bit and bore a hole by the diameter and length of the bolt, as well as the specified drilling method.
Affix a plate onto the friction bolt, positioning the dome against the ring and the tapered end towards the front.
Ensure the hole's length exceeds the friction anchor ground support's length by at least 150mm.
Install the Galvanized Split Set Bolt so they are perpendicular to the rock's surface.
Avoid striking the Friction Anchor Ground Support once the plate is snugly attached to the rock surface to prevent damage to the end of the Galvanized Split Set Bolt.
After installation, conduct pull tests to verify the initial anchorage effectiveness of the Galvanized Split Set Bolt.
